Tuesday 26th August 2008, I watched CNN report on DNC (Democrat National Convention), it was a big show on Democracy, Barrack Obama will receive next USA president nomination. Supporters come from allover states, from various race and background. They try to change American history, for the first time a black man will be a president, but it is democracy, there is no offends based on skin-color in a democracy, every people has the opportunity to be a president, as long as he/she get majority nomination. So if Obama is chosen to be the next president, the democracy will open a gate to any American to be a president. It is not impossible that in the future, a chinese american, or Iraqi-american, or Japanese american, etc to be nominated.
Sometimes emotional sentiment still affect people feeling, and it feels hurt if a minority become a leader of majority. If Obama is chosen, we should congratulate the Americans, they are true democrat.
I believe that there are still many countries in the world will prevent a minority from their community to be a leader, to prevent non-native to be a leader, etc even though it is a democrat country, isn't it?

From Vancouver to Waterloo
@ 2008-08-24 – 17:36:06
August 24th 1990, it was my last day in Vancouver, early in the morning I went to the Airport, I took a flight to Toronto using Air Canada. I felt exciting that I would visit Toronto for the first time in my life. One month in Vancouver already gave me experiences with Canadians, they smile when we pass them and some of them greet us, "good morning, nice weather eh". I felt a little sad as the plane took off Vancouver airport, I said to my self that I will back to this city in the future.
About four hours later the plane landed on Toronto airport, after taking my luggage, I went out, and felt the fresh air of Toronto for the first time.
Several hours later I ride a bus to Waterloo, my destination. I was accepted as a student at Computer Science Department Faculty of Mathematics Waterloo University, starting September 1990.
I stayed at dormitory for a week, then I and two other friends move to a house, we rent the house for Can$900 per month, it is on Esson Street close to Kitchener.
